Mia Wasikowska has heaped praise on co-star Nicole Kidman and was thrilled to be able to work with the Oscar winner.
The pair play mother and daughter in the new horror film which is directed by Park Chan Wook.
Wasikowska revels that Kidman has always been a role model for her and she was excited to be able to act alongside her.
Speaking to the Press Association the actress said: "She's such a legendary actress and has always been a role model for me so to be able to play her daughter was something I didn't ever foresee as a possibility.
"She was incredibly open about her experiences of working in film and growing up in Hollywood."
Park Chan Wook is making his English speaking directorial debut with this movie which also stars Matthew Goode and Jacki Weaver.
We haven't seen Wasikowska on the big screen since Lawless but she has completed wok on The Double. Tracks and Only Lovers Left Alive.
Stoker is released 1st March.
