Matthew McConaughey has described Interstellar as the most 'ambitious' thing that Christopher Nolan has ever done.
McConaughey is set to team up with the visionary filmmaker for the first time with this upcoming science fiction project.
Speaking to Variety, the actor said: "Here’s what I can tell you, It’s the most ambitious thing he’s ever done. And he’s done some ambitious stuff.
"There’s no fucking around on set. He’s a great problem solver. In that way, he’s very indie. Here’s a guy who could have whatever budget he wants - and we finished shooting early."
Interstellar is already one of the most anticipated films of 2014, as it is the first movie for Nolan since the success of The Dark Knight Rises.
A great cast has been assembled, as McConaughey is joined by Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Casey Affleck and Michael Caine.
Interstellar will be the next time that we see McConaughey on the big screen, after the success of Dallas Buyers Club.
McConaughey is currently the favourite to scoop the Best Actor Oscar next month.
Interstellar is released 7th November.
