Matt Smith thinks he has what it takes to be a Bond villain.
While the Doctor Who star doesn't believe he has what it takes to play James Bond he thinks that he would be perfect as a villain in the new movie.
Speaking to The Sun the actor said: "I'm not handsome enough to be James Bond. Maybe a villain though. Start campaigning now. I don't think I could be James Bond though."
"I'd edge on the camp dangerous side I think. Javier Bardem was amazing. I thought Skyfall was a sumptuous film."
We are going to be seeing plenty of Smith on the small screen as the latest season of Doctor Who is about to get underway on BBC One.
But these are exciting times for the actor as he is set to star in Ryan Gosling's directorial debut How To Catch A Monster.
Smith will be joining Eva Mendes, Saoirse Ronan and Ben Mendelsohn on the cast list and filming gets underway later this year.
How To Catch A Monster will be the first big screen outing for the actor since Womb as he has concentrated on TV projects in recent years.
