Mark Wahlberg has described Denzel Washington as a very giving actor.
Wahlberg and Washington team up for the first time this summer as they star in new action film 2 Guns, which is a big screen adaptation of the graphic novel by Steven Grant.
And Wahlberg has revealed that the double Oscar winner was willing to 'try anything' as they brought some comedic elements into the movie.
Speaking to wegotthiscovered.com the actor said: "We've known each other for a while, but what surprised me was how willing Denzel was to just try anything.
"We wanted to add some humour and shake things up a bit, combining comedic elements a bit with the dramatic aspects of the movie.
"He's also a giving actor. He's really supportive of me, I've been a big fan of his for a long time, and he let me do my thing."
It is going to be a busy summer for Walhlberg as both 2 Guns and Pain & Gain are set for release.
He is currently filming the fourth Transformers film with Michael Bay, as he takes over the lead role in the hit franchise.
2 Guns is released 16th August.
