Mark Ruffalo has hinted that Thor: Ragnarok will be a 'buddy picture.'
Earlier this month it was revealed that we would see the return of Bruce Banner in the third solo Thor film, which is due to hit the big screen in 2017.
This will be the first time that we have seen the character of the Hulk feature outside of the Avengers franchise.
And while Ruffalo admits that he knows little about the plot at this stage, it looks like it is going to be a buddy film between the two characters.
Speaking to the New York Daily News, the actor said: "I don't really know that much about it, but I think it's going to be a buddy picture with Thor and Bruce Banner.
The Thor and Hulk fight in Avengers Assemble was one of the great moments in the film - an animosity that appeared again and the duo helped in the battle of New York - who could forget Hulk punching Thor after they had worked together to bring down one of the aliens?
And Ruffalo things that this new film will have more fighting. He continued: "I think they'll probably fight. There's no doubt, everyone wants us to fight at one point."
Nothing has been revealed about the Thor: Ragnarok plot or the cast list so far, but we do know that Tom Hiddleston will also be back as Loki.
As for Ruffalo, he is currently on promotional duties for his new film Spotlight, a journalism movie that sees him team up with Rachel McAdams, and Michael Keaton. The actor has also completed work on Now You See Me 2.
Thor: Ragnarok is released 27th October 2017. It will be the third of three Marvel films to hit the big screen that year; following on from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 and the new Spider-Man reboot.
