Mark Ruffalo says the next time that we see the Hulk will be the Avengers sequel and there are currently no plans for a stand alone film.
Ruffalo took over the role of Bruce Banner aka The Hulk in Avengers Assemble last year and since then there has been much talk about the future of this character.
This week there had been huge amounts of talk about a solo movie with the Planet Hulk storyline being tipped to make it to the big screen.
But the actor has taken to Twitter to put all of these rumours straight.
Writing on his twitter Ruffalo said: "A lot of folks have been asking about the Next Hulk. The next time you see my Hulk it will be in the Avengers 2. No plans for stand alone.
"I am not giving up on another stand alone HULK. But it’s not in the works right now. One never knows what the future will bring."
An Avengers sequel script is currently being worked on by Joss Whedon and that film is set to hit the big screen in summer 2015.
We will be seeing Ruffalo back on the big screen with Now You See me and he is currently filming Foxcatcher.
