Mark Hamill has tweeted his approval for the cast list of Star Wars: Episode VII.
Earlier this week it was announced that John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Domhnall Gleeson and Andy Serkis were some of the new faces on the cast list for the latest instalment of the popular franchise.
They would be joining original stars Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher for the latest film.
Taking to Twitter, Hamill revealed his excitement about the cast list: "UK table read - I was knocked out by the diverse and extraordinarily talented new cast members," he tweeted.
"WOW they're good! The saga is in superb hands."
Star Wars: Episode VII will the first feature film since Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith back in 2005, as J.J Abrams takes over the director's chair.
Filming on the new movie is about to get underway and will be released 18th December 2015.
