Marc Forster will not be returning to the director's chair for the World War Z sequel.
Forster teamed up with Brad Pitt this summer for World War Z, a movie that was a big screen adaptation of the novel by Max Brooks.
The movie enjoyed huge box office success and there has been immediate talk of a second film.
Brad Pitt told The Hollywood Reporter that the movie is still in the early stages.
"We are talking about it. We are going to investigate a script. We have a lot of ideas we will cull from. Nobody is writing just yet, but we are compiling our ideas."
The film may be in the early stages but it seems that Forster will not be on board for the project.
Forster has been behind movies such as Machine Gun Preacher, Quantum of Solace and The Kite Runner in recent years.
Having taken over $540 million at the global box office, World War Z is one of the most successful films of Forster's directing career.
