Marc Forster has described the tone of World War Z as political thriller and Bourne.
Forster is back in the director's chair this summer with the big screen adaptation of the novel by Max Brooks.
World War Z is a zombie movie that will mix elements of action and horror and Forster says that the tone of the film is a real mix.
Speaking to Empire the director said: "The tone is a mixture of a political thriller and Bourne, I wouldn't call it completely like Bourne, but it feels like it takes place in a world we can all relate to."
The film sees Forster team up with actor Brad Pitt for the very first time while Mireille Enos, Matthew Fox and James Badge Dale are all on board.
We haven't see Forster in the director's chair since he helmed Machine Gun Preacher back in 2011. But he is no stranger to the blockbuster having directed Quantum o Solace.
World War Z is released 21st June.
