Man of Steel has made it two weeks at the top of the UK box office as it held off the challenge from World War Z.
Man of Steel has broken through the $400 million mark worldwide in less than two weeks on release.
The movie took a further £5,073 million at the UK over the weekend - holding off the charge made by the Brad Pitt led zombie film.
World War Z saw Pitt return to the big screen as the Max Brooks novel of the same name gets the film treatment from director Marc Forster.
The movie took over £4.5 million in its first weekend on general release but was unable to topple Man of Steel.
After Earth fell a single place to three while Behind the Candelabra was up from five to four.
The Hangover Part III rounded off the top five this week as it fell two place from number two.
Dwayne Johnson has two movies inside the top ten this week as Snitch opened at number six - but Fast & Furious 6 was down three places at nine.
Epic and The Great Gatsby were the other three place fallers as they ended the weekend at seven and ten.
Before Midnight was the third and final new entry on the chart this week as it opened at number eight.
