It’s hard to believe it’s been a decade since Mamma Mia! The Movie hit the big screen and took in over $600 million across the globe, but those feeling a little nostalgic will now be able to delve right back into the action and return to the Greek island of Kalokairi in a brand new musical film, once more based on the songs of ABBA.

Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again sees Meryl Streep return as Donna, Julie Walters as Rosie, Christine Baranski as Tanya, Amanda Seyfried as Sophie and Dominic Cooper as Sky, with Pierce Brosnan, Stellan Skarsgård and Colin Firth also reprising their roles of Sophie’s three possible dads, Sam, Bill and Harry respectively.

This week, the final trailer for the movie has been released, showcasing some of the feel-good fun we should expect when Here We Go Again hits the big screen. Check it out below:

Flicking back and forth between the years, and filling in the gaps of the past, a whole bunch of new faces have been added to the cast. They include Lily James as a young Donna, Alexa Davies as a young Rosie, and Jessica Keenan Wynn as a young Tanya. Jeremy Irvine, Josh Dylan, and Hugh Skinner meanwhile will all take on the younger versions of Sam, Bill, and Harry respectively.

The movie comes from a story by Catherine Johnson, Richard Curtis and Ol Parker, with the script written and directed by Parker (The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel). Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus are back with the music and lyrics, and also serve as executive producers alongside Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson Phyllida Lloyd, Richard Curtis and Nicky Kentish Barnes.

Producers of the original film, Judy Craymer and Gary Goetzman return to produce once more.

Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again comes to cinemas across the UK on July 20, 2018.
