Michael Caine has told fans to expect something ‘entirely different’ from Christopher Nolan’s latest film Inception.
Caine has reunited with filmmaker Nolan for the most anticipated science fiction film of the year, and Nolan’s first movie since the success of The Dark Knight Rises back in 2012.
Interstellar marks the sixth time that Caine has worked with Nolan with Batman Begins, The Prestige, The Dark Knight, Inception, and The Dark Knight Rises already under their belt. But the actor says Interstellar is like nothing that the director has done before.
Speaking to Bang Showbiz, the actor said: "Fans can expect something entirely different from what we've done before like Inception and Batman.
"Take my word for it, the film is going to be extraordinary. I haven't seen it yet; I'm seeing it this week but from what I hear it's fantastic. It's no surprise to me because I think Nolan is the best British director since David Lynne."
Caine is part of an all star cast in Interstellar, as Matthew McConaughey, Jessica Chastain, Anne Hathaway, Wes Bentley, and Casey Affleck are all also on board.
The movie is set to follow a group of explores who set off into space to find a new planet for humans to inhabit, as the Earth is beginning to die.
Interstellar is set to kick off a busy period for Caine, as he has also completed work on Danny Collins, The Early Years, and Kingsman: The Secret Service.
The actor is currently filming The Last Witch Hunter with Vin Diesel and looks set to reprise the role of Arthur Tressler in Now You See Me 2.
Interstellar is released 7th November.
