Luke Evans has been cast in The Crow.
The Crow has been a project in the pipeline for a couple of years and Oscar nominated actor Bradley Cooper had originally been linked to the film.
While Cooper left the project a couple of years back the film was still in the pipeline and the likes of Tom Hiddleston and Alexander Skarsgard had both been linked to the film.
But Deadline has reported that British actor Luke Evans has been cast in the lead role, which was played by Brandon Lee in the cult 1993 film.
F. Javier Gutuerrez is in the director’s chair for the film that once again brings James O’Barr’s graphic novel to the big screen.
As for Evans he will be back on the big screen this summer as he is one of the new faces in Fast And Furious 6.
And we will be seeing plenty of the actor over the next year or so as he has completed work on No One Lives, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and The Hobbit: There and Back Again.
He is also set to star in The Amateur American as well as a new Dracula movie.
