Luke Evans has hinted that he may be about to leave the remake of The Crow.
It was revealed earlier this year that Evans was going to take on the central role of Eric Draven, as Alex Proyas' nineties movie is re-imagined.
However, it seems that the delay in getting the movie up and running means that we could be seeing Evans walks away from what could be a very exciting role.
When asked about the project by Den of Geek, the actor said: "No at the minute The Crow is not, not for me.
"I mean I'm sure it's going to go ahead at some point, but I have other projects that are greenlit and ready to go and projects that I'm very interested in and you know, I can't wait much longer."
The Crow has already lost director F Javier Gutiérrez earlier this year, who has been replaced by Corin Hardy - who is currently working on The Hallow.
Horror movie The Hallow - which was originally called The Woods - will mark the feature film directorial debut for Hardy, and The Crow would be the second film project of his directing career.
Back in November, comic book creator James O'Barr revealed that this new movie would not be a remake of the 1994 film, instead it would be a new adaptation of the iconic comic books.
As for Evans, he is back on the big screen this week as he returns to the role of Bard in The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies - the third and final instalment of Peter Jackson's The Hobbit trilogy.
The British actor has also completed work on High Rise, which would see him work with director Ben Wheatley for the first time. The movie is based on the novel by J.G. Ballard, and will also star Tom Hiddleston, Jeremy Irons and Sienna Miller.
