Daniel Radcliffe reveals that loyalty is a key theme to Victor Frankenstein.
Radcliffe teams up with James McAvoy for the first time as they take on the central roles of Igor and Victor Von Frankenstein.
And Radcliffe says that the loyalty that is established at the beginning of the movie is key when we come to the story's climax at the end.
Speaking to Screen Rant, the actor said: "Victor saves me, and then creates me, gives me this identity, and a new physical appearance - it engenders that loyalty.
"In that moment, the finale of the film is set up, you need to establish that loyalty, because he treats me so badly throughout the film, that you would be going, 'Well why are you even bothering with this guy anymore?' And actually it's the fact that Victor at the beginning was the only person who ever saw anything in me enough to try to save me."
Victor Frankenstein sees Paul McGuigan back in the director's chair for the first time since Push - it will also be the first time that both Radcliffe and McAvoy have teamed up with the filmmaker.
As if Radcliffe and McAvoy sharing the screen is not exciting enough, they will be joined on the cast list by Andrew Scott, Charles Dance, and Jessica Brown Findlay.
Victor Frankenstein is set to kick of a very busy period for Radcliffe as he has a series of exciting movie projects in the pipeline.
He has already completed work on Swiss Army Man, Imperium and Now You See Me 2. Radcliffe is one of the big new additions to the cast list of Now You See Me 2 as he stars alongside Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, and Mark Ruffalo.
Victor Frankenstein is released 3rd December.
