Lily James has described Elizabeth Bennet as 'fierce' and a bad-ass' in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.

James was on the red carpet in London earlier this week for the UK premiere of the upcoming horror film, which is an adaptation of the book of the same name by Seth Grahame-Smith.
The British actress takes on the iconic role of Elizabeth Bennet... but this is Elizabeth like we have never seen her before.
Speaking on the red carpet, the actress said: "She is the normal Miss Bennet from Jane Austen, I hope. But instead of that internal dissatisfaction and aggression, she lets it all out. She is very fierce and a real bad-ass."
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies sees James team up with filmmaker Burr Steers for the first time; he has penned the film's screenplay as well as being in the director's chair.
Sam Riley, Douglas Booth, Jack Huston, Suki Waterhouse, Bella Heathcote, Matt Smith, and Charles Dance are just some of the other names on the cast list - they all also graced the red carpet in London alongside James and the director.
James has seen her star rocket in recent years with TV series Downton Abbey and the title role in last year's adaptation of Cinderella under her belt. This is the first action role of her career and is set to turn her into an even bigger star.
The actress can currently be seen back on the small screen as she stars alongside Paul Dano and James Norton for a new adaptation of epic novel War & Peace.
James is currently working on new film The Kaiser's Last Kiss. The movie is an adaptation of the novel by Alan Judd and sees David Leveaux in the director's chair. Jai Courtney, Eddie Marsan, and Christopher Plummer are also on the cast list.
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies is released 11th February.
