Directed by Ben Falcone, who also co-writes with the film’s lead star Melissa McCarthy is upcoming comedy flick Life Of The Party. This month, a fantastic new trailer showcasing just a little of what we should expect when the movie hits the big screen has been revealed, which you can now check out below:
McCarthy stars as housewife Deanna in the flick; a woman who’s suddenly dumped by her husband and so decides to turn her life upside down. She does this by making a return to college, but when she lands in the same class and school as her daughter, it seems like a recipe for disaster.
Jumping head first into college life, Deanna’s life turns into chaos, and she even changes her name to Dee Rock. Embracing everything that comes her way and enjoying her new sense of freedom, she does her all to find her true self in a senior year that she never saw coming.
McCarthy stars alongside other leading stars such as Gillian Jacobs, Maya Rudolph, Julie Bowen, Matt Walsh, Molly Gordon, Stephen Root, Jacki Weaver, Jessie Ennis, Adria Arjona, Debby Ryan, and Jimmy O. Yang.
The movie is also produced by McCarthy and Falcone through their production company On The Day, as well as Chris Henchy serving as producer. Toby Emmerich, Richard Brener, Michael Disco and David Siegel all sit as executive producers.
Life Of The Party will come to cinemas across the UK on May 11, 2018, distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures.
