Liam Neeson has hinted that he may only take on action roles for the next couple of years.
Neeson became an action here back in 2008 when he played Bryan Mills for the first time in hit Taken. Since then, the actor has enjoyed success in the Taken sequels, Non-Stop and Unknown.
He returns to the genre this week with Run All Night, which sees him reunite with Unknown director Jaume Collet-Serra, but the sixty two years olds hints that his action days may be numbered.
Speaking to the Guardian, the actor said: "Maybe two more years - if God spares me, and I'm healthy. But after that, I'll stop [the action], I think.
"I'm in a very, career-wise, great place. The success certainly of the Taken films, Hollywood seems to see me in a different light. I get sent quite a few action-orientated scripts, which is great. I'm not knocking it. It's very flattering. But there is a limit of course."
Neeson has already enjoyed box office success this year with Taken 3, and now Run All Night sees him star alongside Ed Harris, Joel Kinnaman, and Common.
We are going to be seeing plenty of Neeson on the big screen this year as he has already completed work on A Monster Calls, while he is one of the new faces on the cast list of comedy Ted 2.
The actor is currently filming Silence, which sees him reunite with director Martin Scorsese for the first time since Gangs of New York. The movie is set in the seventeenth century and sees Andrew Garfield and Adam Driver also on the cast list.
Run All Night is out now.
