Les Miserables has made it three weeks at the top of the UK box office as the top five was dominated by Oscar nominated films.
Les Miserables took a further £4 million this week to see it pass through the £20 million mark here in the UK.
There was also no move at two as Django Unchained, the latest film from Quentin Tarantino, comfortably held off the challenge from the new releases
The highest of those new releases was Lincoln as the biopic opened at number three.
Lincoln sees Steven Spielberg back in the director's chair and Daniel Day-Lewis is hotly tipped to win a third Best Actor Oscar for his central performance.
Life of Pi was down one place this week while Kathryn Bigelow's Zero Dark Thirty was new at five.
This is a first film for the Oscar winning director since Oscar success The Hurt Locker as she teams up with actress Jessica Chastain.
The Impossible was down two this week as it fell out of the top five down to six while Movie 43 was a third new entry in at seven.
Monsters, Inc 3D was down one at eight while The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey was down three at nine.
The Peter Jackson directed movie has grossed in excess of £50 million in the seven weeks that it has been on release.
The Last Stand was the fourth and final new entry in the top ten this week as the Arnold Schwarzenegger film opened at ten.
