Leonard Nimoy says he would love to be a part of Star Wars VII.
Nimoy has reprised the role of Spock in both J.J. Abram movies Star Trek and Star Trek Into Darkness - movies that saw him work with Abrams for the first time.
Abrams is set to stick with science fiction with his next project as he will director Star Wars VII.
When asked by StarTrek.com if working with Abrams on Star Wars would interest him the actor said: "Ooooh, wouldn't that be fun? I would love to.
And the actor has no problems moving from Star Trek to Star Wars: "No, no. I think it would work wonderfully.
"I think it would work just great. I think it would be a great idea, and somebody ought to tell him that."
While Abrams has breathed new life into the star Trek franchise he has still nodded back to the popularity of the original by having Nimoy take on a small role in both movies.
Star Wars VII is set to hit the big screen in 2015 but a cast list has not been officially announced.
