Lea Seydoux has described her role in Spectre as a 'dream.'
Seydoux is one the new faces on the cast list of the twenty fourth Bond film, which she is currently filming and is out later this year.
She will take on the role of Madeleine Swann in the new film, as she teams up with Daniel Craig and director Sam Mendes for the first time.
Speaking on ITV's Lorraine, the actress said: "Sam invited me for lunch and said, 'Do you want to be part of the film?' And I said yes.
"But for me it wasn't really real. I felt I was in a dream. So I was, 'Yeah ... I mean, yes'."
While we have received some teasers about the film in recent weeks, Mendes and co are keeping things very close to their chest - Seydoux admits that she hasn't seen anything of the film yet.
Seydoux is not the only new face to watch out for on the cast list, as Monica Bellucci, Dave Bautista, Andrew Scott and double Oscar winner Christoph Waltz are all also on board.
Craig is taking on the role of 007 for the fourth time, while Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, and Naomie Harris are back as M, Q, and Eve Moneypenny.
Seydoux has seen her star rocket in recent years with roles in the likes of The Grand Budapest Hotel and Blue is the Warmest Colour. However, Spectre is set to be the biggest film of her career so far and looks set to send her star rocketing even further.
The actress has also completed work on The Lobster, which will see her star alongside Ben Whishaw, Rachel Weisz, Colin Farrell, and John C. Reilly.
Spectre is released 23rd October.
