Tom Hanks is another favourite here at FemaleFirst and he is set to return to the big screen this November with Cold War thriller Bridge of Spies.
Bridge of Spies sees the actor reunite with director Steven Spielberg as they tackle the Cold War on film for the first time. This is their fourth film project together and comes after the success of Saving Private Ryan, Catch Me If You Can and The Terminal.
It was back in 2004 when The Terminal hit the big screen and it is great to see Hanks and Spielberg collaboration on a movie project once more - they really have made a terrific partnership over the years.
Hanks is set to take on the real life role of American lawyer James B. Donovan, who is pulled in the Cold War when recruited by the CIA to negotiate the swap of prisoners with the Russians.
And it is Hanks who takes centre stage in this new clip with Amy Ryan, who takes on the role of Donovan's wife, Mary. Check it out:
Hanks and Ryan lead an all-star cast as Mark Rylance, Alan Alda, Austin Stowell, Jesse Plemons, and Sebastian Koch are just some of the great names that are on board.
Bridge Of Spies is a dramatic thriller which tells the story of James Donovan (Hanks), a Brooklyn insurance claims lawyer who finds himself thrust into the centre of the Cold War when the CIA sends him on the near-impossible task to negotiate the release of a captured American U-2 pilot.
Bridge of Spies is set to be one of the autumn movies that you cannot miss as the movie is promising to be a tense political thriller with Hanks on top form in the central role.
Of course, it's that time of year and Bridge of Spies is just one of the films that is being tipped as a potential Oscar contender. I would like to see Hanks in the Best Actor race once again.
Bridge of Spies is released 27th November.
