We are going to be seeing plenty of Ewan McGregor in 2015, and the first poster for Last Days in the Desert has been unveiled.
Last Days in the Desert is set to receive its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival and will see McGregor team up with writer and director Rodrigo García.
This is the first feature film for Garcia since Albert Nobbs, having worked in television with Blue and Christine more recently.
The movie is based on the forty days that Jesus spent fasting in the desert and will see McGregor take on the role of Jesus in the film.
He leads an all-star cast as Ciaran Hinds, Ayelet Zurer, and Tye Sheridan are all also on board.
If you are a McGregor fan, then you are in for a treat this year as Mortdecai, and Son of a Gun are just two of the movies that will be hitting the big screen in January alone.
McGregor has also completed work on Miles Ahead, Jane Got a Gun, and Out Kind of Traitor.
No UK release date for Last Days in the Desert has yet been released.
