Inspired by George Michael's song of the same name, Last Christmas comes from director Paul Feig and a screenplay by Emma Thompson and playwright Bryony Kimmings. Thompson also stars in the film, alongside big names such as Emilia Clarke, Henry Golding and Michelle Yeoh.

Clarke takes on the role of Kate; a young woman who almost died just a year before we catch up with her. Making a bunch of bad decisions since her survival, she now works as an elf in a year-round Christmas shop, but her barriers begin to break down when Tom (Golding) walks into her life.

Realising that sometimes you've just "gotta have faith", Kate and Tom stand by one another as London transforms into a winter wonderland.

Not only featuring the titular track, Last Christmas brings the music of George Michael and Wham! to the big screen in a way like never before, whilst also premiering brand new unreleased material by the late Grammy-winning artist.

BAFTA winner David Livingstone produces for Calamity Films, with Emma Thompson also producing alongside Paul Feig and Jessie Henderson for Feigco Entertainment. Sarah Bradshaw serves as an executive producer on the romantic comedy.

Last Christmas comes to cinemas across the UK on November 15th, 2019.
