Labor Day sees Kate Winslet return to the big screen, and a brand new UK poster has been revealed.
The movie has been gaining plenty of support on the festival circuit in recent weeks, and played at the BFI London Film Festival last night.
Labor Day is an adaptation of the novel by Joyce Maynard and has been written and directed for the big screen by Jason Reitman: his first film since the success of Young Adult.
Winslet is teaming up with the director for the first time in what is her first film since comedy Movie 43 at the beginning of the year.
Josh Brolin, Gattlin Griffith and Tobey Maguire make up an all star cast.
Labor Day centres on 13-year-old Henry Wheeler (Griffith / Maguire), who struggles to be the man of his house and care for his reclusive mother Adele (Winslet) while confronting all the pangs of adolescence.
On a back-to-school shopping trip, Henry and his mother encounter Frank Chambers (Brolin), a man both intimidating and clearly in need of help, who convinces them to take him into their home and later is revealed to be an escaped convict.
The events of this long Labor Day weekend will shape them for the rest of their lives.
Labor Day is released 7th February 2014.
