Kristen Bell says she wanted the character of Anna in Frozen to be relatable to a modern girl.
Bell will lend her voice to Disney's newest princess this week as we are introduced to Anna for the first time in Frozen.
Frozen is the fifty second Disney film and is loosely based on the Hans Christian Anderson story The Snow Queen.
Speaking to Parade the actress said: "I came with loads of ideas to make her more relatable to a modern girl
"She's scrappy and awkward. I didn't want her to have good posture."
Frozen is the second Disney movie of 2013, after the success of Wreck It Ralph at the beginning of the year.
Bell is joined on the cast list by Idina Menzel and Jonathan Groff, while Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee are in the director's chair.
Bell will be back on the big screen next year as a film version of popular show Veronica Mars is set for release; it is the first time that we will see the TV series adapted for the big screen.
Frozen is released 6th December.
