Kong: Skull Island is one of the big films to feature at this year' San Diego Comic Con and a great new motion poster is counting down to the event.
Kong: Skull Island is set to be an origins story to the iconic King Kong tale and sees Jordan Vogt-Roberts back in the director's chair.
Vogt-Roberts made his feature film directorial debut back in 2013 with The Kings of Summer and this will be his first movie since that success.
The trailer will be unveiled at Comic-Con and comes just days after we were treated to the first image from the film.
Tom Hiddleston is set to lead an all-star cast as Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, John Goodman, John C. Reilly, and Corey Hawkins are also on board.
In the film, a diverse team of explorers is brought together to venture deep into an uncharted island in the Pacific - as beautiful as it is treacherous - unaware that they're crossing into the domain of the mythic Kong.
King Kong is one of cinema's most iconic characters and I am excited to see an origins story explored.
Kong: Skull Island is released in 2017.
