Kelly Reilly says she is 'not holding her breath' with Sherlock Holmes 3, but it might well go ahead.
Reilly has played Mary Morstan in the first two Sherlock Holmes movies, and there has been a lot of chatter this year that we are going to be getting a third.
However, Reilly admits that she knows very little about the project and believes it is as likely not to go ahead as go ahead at this point.
Speaking exclusively to FemaleFirst, the actress said: "I hear chatter about that, and then it goes away. Getting all of the boys' schedules together is quite a difficult thing with everyone being so busy.
It is a little vignette for me to come in and do that. That would be lovely, they are such lovely people, and it would be nice to get together.
"However, I am not holding my breath that it is going to happen; but it might well."
Robert Downey Jr had hinted that a third film is in development earlier this month, which would see him reprise the title role.
As for Reilly , she has just finished work on new film Bastille Day, which would see her team up with Idris Elba, Richard Madden, and Charlotte Le Bon.
The CIA action movie will see James Watkins back in the director's chair for the first time since the success of The Woman in Black.
Reilly is also set to begin work on the season two of hit TV series of True Detective.
