Keira Knightley is in talks to star opposite Benedict Cumberbatch in 'The Imitation Game'.
The 28-year-old actress looks set to appear alongside the 'Star Trek into Darkness' actor in the biopic - which is based on the book 'Alan Turing: The Enigma', based on the life story of the mathematician - with 'Headhunters' director Morten Tyldum in line to helm the movie, Variety reports.
The motion picture tell the story of Alan cracking the German enigma code machine in World War II, which helped the Allies to victory, but he was later prosecuted for being a homosexual in the 1950s.
Teddy Schwarzman will produce the film with Nora Grossman and Ido Ostrowsky, but the movie is still looking for a distributor.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Knightley will play a woman who forms a complicated relationship with Alan and stays with him until the bitter end. The budget for the indie movie is said to be around the $15 million mark.
The brunette beauty's next role will see her team up with Cumberbatch's 'Star Trek' co-star Chris Pine for upcoming action thriller 'Jack Ryan'.
