Kayvan Novak says he was starstruck around Ian McShane on the set of Cuban Fury.
Novak and McShane team up for the first for comedy Cuban Fury, which is directed by James Griffiths.
Novak takes on the role of dancer Bejan in the film, and admits that he didn't know what to say to his co-star.
Speaking to the Press Association, Novak said: "Starstruck around Ian McShane? F*** yeah! I admire Ian very much. I can never think of anything to say to him.
"I just listen to him - I talk loudly and I embarrass myself in front of him. And I just want him to think I'm cool, but that's never going to happen."
Cuban Fury brings together a terrific cast as Novak and McShane are joined by Nick Frost, Chris O'Dowd, Olivia Colman and Rashida Jones.
Novak is best known for his TV work and Cuban Fury is his first big screen outing since Four Lions; he did lend his voice to The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists!
Novak has also completed work on The Last Sparks of Sundown, which is directed and written by James Kibbey.
