Kaya Scodelario says she has no idea where the rumours linking her to the role of Lara Croft in a new Tomb Raider movie have come from.
The British star is just one of the names that has been tipped to possibly take over from Angelina Jolie in a reboot of the action franchise.
And Scodelario admits that it would be a role that would be 'quite fun' and she would be tempted to give it a go.
Speaking to Total Film the actress said: "I don't know where the f**k that's come from! Imagine having to take over from Angelina Jolie - you just couldn't, could you?
"My auntie rang me up and was like, 'Kaya, I've just seen on Google that...' I'd literally not heard a whisper about that, at all.
"Would I be tempted? A little bit. That would be quite fun. Give me a couple of years to get my fitness up first, and then maybe I'll tackle that one, but I've no idea where that's come from at all."
It has already been a busy year for the actress as she starred in Emanuel and the Truth About Fishes. She is currently working on The Maz Runner; which sees her star alongside Patricia Clarkson, Will Poulter and Dylan O'Brien.
