Kate Winslet says that she is a huge fan of the costumes that she got to wear in Insurgent as it made her character even 'nastier.'
Winslet is set to reprise the role of Jeanine in the second of the Veronica Roth novels to be adapted for the big screen. The movie comes a year after Divergent was a box office success.
And Winslet loves how the clothes that she has got to wear in this new film has brought out the villain in her.
Speaking to People Magazine, Winslet said: "It's been really nice being able to wear all the cut, fitted dresses that help create such an intimidating villain. It's made Jeanine feel much more powerful, cattier and nastier."
The movie sees Winslet reunite with Shailene Woodley, who takes on the central role of Tris Prior, and Winslet hints that we are going to see the relationship between the pair develop further.
She continued: "Tris and Jeanine's relationship has become a power game. Jeanine has a very bizarre and uncomfortable fascination with and admiration for Tris."
Insurgent sees Robert Schwentke take over the director's chair from Neil Burger and marks the first time that we have seen Winslet on the big screen since Divergent last year. And we are going to be seeing plenty of the Oscar winning actress this year as she is also going to be starring in A Little Chaos - which is directed by Alan Rickman - Triple 9, and The Dressmaker.
Winslet is currently filming Steve Jobs, in which she will take on the role of Joanna Hoffman. Danny Boyle is in the director's chair, while Michael Fassbender, Seth Rogen, and Jeff Daniels are also on the cast list.
Insurgent is released 19th March.
