Kate Beckinsale has joined new psychological thriller The Disappointments Room.
The Disappointments Room is one of the upcoming projects from Relativity, and will see D.J. Caruso back in the director's chair.
Caruso has brought us the likes of Disturbia, Eagle Eye, and I Am Number Four, and this will mark the first time that he has teamed up with Beckinsale.
The movie is based on a true story of a family being terrorised in their own home, and filming is expected to get underway later this summer.
As for Beckinsale, The Trails of Cate McCall was released in the U.S. back in April and she has also completed work on Eliza Graves, The Face of an Angel and Absolutely Anything.
Eliza Graves is based on the short story by Edgar Allan Poe, while The Face of an Angel is based on the book by Barbie Latza Nadeau.
