Justin Timberlake says that he would love to play villain The Riddler.
The actor revealed that he had no ambition to ever play a superhero - and did not want to play Robin alongside his Runner Runner co-star Ben Affleck - but being a villain is something that would interest him.
Speaking on Fresh 102.7 the actor said: "Not a chance in hell. I ain't playing Robin. I have no aspiration to ever be a superhero in a movie.
"Now, a villain! I'll tell you the villain I want to play more than anything because I grew up loving Batman, funnily enough, is The Riddler. The Riddler is my favourite villain.
"The Riddler was like a sociopath. He was proper crazy. So if I'm gonna play crazy, I'm wanna play proper crazy."
Trouble with the Curve was the last time that we saw Timberlake on the big screen, but he will be returning this autumn with Runner Runner.
The movie sees the singer turned actor team up with Affleck and Gemma Arterton for the first time, while Brad Furman is in the director's chair.
He is also set to star in Inside Llewyn Davis, the latest film from Joel and Ethan Coen.
Runner Runner is released 27th September.
