Julianne Moore bought her weekly food shop the day after winning an Academy Award.
Moore won a Best Actress Oscar last year for her portrayal of an Alzheimer's patient in 'Still Alice', and while she delighted to win the accolade, she returned to being a mother to son Caleb, 18, and 13-year-old daughter Liv.
When asked if her life has changed since her Academy Award win, she said: "You know what, it really hasn't changed at all.
"I swear it was the most beautiful, amazing, exciting, surreal night that went on and on and I made sure it did because I didn't want it to end.
"You want to remember it because it's a very special moment.
"But then I was back on a plane to New York first thing - I went home to be a mom, arranging pick-up times and basketball and getting the groceries for the next week."
Julianne - who is married to Bart Freundlich - decided to keep her prize in her study because she didn't want to put it on full view to look like she was boasting about her incredible achievement.
When asked where she keeps her Best Actress award, she told Britain's HELLO! magazine: "In the study on a shelf, not exactly hidden from view but not like 'Boom - there' as soon as you walk through the front door."
