Julia Roberts doesn't consider herself a film actress.
The Academy Award-winning star is making a move to TV with her role in new Amazon Studios TV series 'Homecoming', but although she is most famous for making movies she has never closed herself from any role.
Speaking to BANG Showbiz, she said: "I mean, I've never called myself a film actor, I'm just an actor. I think for me, I go where the parts compel me and I don't know that a lot of creative people that would compartmentalise their places to be creative in that way.
"We're all just looking for the thing that we think we can bring something of value too it's not really the medium so much that is pursued."
In psychological drama 'Homecoming', Julia plays Heidi Bergman a caseworker at a secret government facility helping traumatised soldiers but who has a desire to return to civilian life.
The psychological thriller is based on the original podcast series of the same name created by Eli Horowitz and Micah Bloomberg and Julia stars alongside 'Ant-Man' actor Bobby Cannavale and 'Shots Fired' star Stephan James.
