Jude Law

Jude Law says that parts he is being offered are more interesting now that he has got older.

The actor is back on the big screen this week as he reunites with director Steven Soderbergh for Side Effects.

This is the second time that they have worked together after they teamed up for Contagion.

And the actor admits that as he has got older his roles have become less 'predictable'.

Speaking to the BBC the actor said: "There's a certain amount of minefields you have to tiptoe through in your 20s and 30s as an actor."

"The roles tend to be more, not two dimensional, but maybe a little bit more predictable - it's the dashing young lead or the romantic interest."

Side Effects sees Law team up with Channing Tatum, Rooney Mara and Catherine Zeta Jones in what is suppose to be Soderbergh's last big screen outing.

As for Law we are going to be seeing him take on the title role in Don Hemingway while he is currently filming The Grand Budapest Hotel.

Side Effects is out now.
