Josh Hutcherson has called The Hunger Games an amazing movie and admits that he can't wait for fans of the book to see it.
The actor teams up with Jennifer Lawrence for the big screen adaptation of the Suzanne Collins novel.
And Hutcherson praised director Gary Ross for his work on the movie.
Speaking to The Press Association the actor said: "There are a lot of people who this book means so much to, but this movie means a lot to me as well.
"We all did the best job we could possibly do with it, and I think that's going to be a really great movie," he said.
"I had a great time, and I'm very excited to see it all come together. Gary, our director and writer, did an amazing job of working with Suzanne in making the book into an amazing movie, so I'm really excited about it.
"I'm excited to see what they think about it, because it's going to be great."
Hutcherson is currently enjoying box office success with Journey 2: The Mysterious Island but is also set to star in Red Dawn.
The Hunger Games is released 23rd March.
