Jordana Brewster has called the addition of Jason Statham to the cast list of Fast & Furious 7 as awesome.
The British actor made a tiny cameo appearance in Fast a& Furious 6 and is set to have a much bigger role in the next instalment of the hit franchise.
Statham will join Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson and Brewster on the cast list.
Speaking to E! News the actress said: "I think it's awesome.
"I saw him [on the] weekend [Fast & Furious 6] opened, we were on the same flight, and he was very sweet, so I'm glad."
Statham is set to take on the role of Ian Shaw in the film, the brother of Luke Shaw played by Luke Evans in the current film.

Filming on Fast & Furious 7 is set to get underway later this year for a 2014 release.
