Jim Broadbent and Ray Stevenson will join Samuel L. Jackson in 'Big Game'.
'The Iron Lady' and 'G.I. Joe: Retaliation' actors will co-star in the new action adventure movie which stars Jackson as the president of the United States, who forms an unlikely friendship with a 13-year-old boy when his plane, Air Force One, crashes in a forest.
The film centres on a shy teen named Oskari - to be played by Onni Tommila - who ventures into a local forest with a bow and arrow in order to return with a prize and prove himself as a man.
However, when the US president's plane is shot down by terrorists, the boy is shocked to discover Jackson's commander in chief. With armed militants hot on their heels, the strangers must team together to survive.
Jalmari Helander is set to direct and co-wrote the script with Petri Jokiranta.
He said in a statement: "'Big Game' is an action adventure story on an epic scale. I'm delighted to be taking this genre on as it has always been very close to my heart, as action-packed adventure stories contain the elements that I believe make movies that are worth watching."
Filming will take place over eight weeks in Bavaria.
