Jessica Alba says that she more than happy to see The Fantastic Four being rebooted with a series of new actors.

Alba took on the role of Sue Storm when The Fantastic Four was brought to the big screen back in 2005: Ioan Gruffudd, Chris Evans and Michael Chiklis were also on board.

The film has now been re-cast and Kate Mara is set to take over the role of Sue.

Speaking to the Belfast Telegraph, the actress said: "I don't have any sort of real attachment to anything like that.

"I'm like, the more the better, I don't really have any idea. It's not like I created the comic book.

"I think Stan Lee [the co-creator of 'Fantastic Four'] should have a say in who plays Sue."

The Fantastic Four will be directed by Josh Trank, while Miles Teller, Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Bell will also star as Reed Richards, Johnny Storm and Ben Grimm aka The Thing.

As for Alba, we are going to be seeing plenty of her on the big screen this year, as she has completed a series of movies.

She is set to star in Dear Eleanor, Stretch, How To Make Love Like An Englishman and Barely Lethal.

She is also set to reprise the role of Nancy Callahan in Sin City: A Dame to Kill For: the highly anticipated sequel to Sin City.
