Jessica Alba says she is more selective about her roles since she became a mother.
The actress has just lent her voice to animation movie Escape From Planet Earth and she admits that she now takes on fewer films because of her parental responsibilities.
Speaking to Collider the actress said: "I used to work 11 to 12 months a year on location and now I don't.
"The roles that I take, certainly I bring them with me, but I don't do as much. I'm much pickier about the roles that I accept."
We haven't see Alba on the big screen since Spy Kids: All the Time in the World 4D but she doe have a couple of projects ahead of her this year.
She has completed work on comedy A.C.O.D. and Machete Kills and she is currently filming Sin City: A Dame to Kill For.
Alba is set to reprise the role of Nancy Callahan in the Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller directed film.
