Jeremy Renner feels that he still has a lot to learn and achieve in his acting career.
Renner has already picked up two Oscar nominations - for his work in The Hurt Locker and The Town - and starred in some of cinema's biggest films, but he was to achieve and experience more.
Speaking to Collider, the actor said: "Oh brother, I hope this isn't it. That means maybe it's a plateau and then there's still a lot more to climb.
"There's a lot more to learn, a lot more to grow as a man, as an artist.
"In my mind, when that stops, then I'm happy to be gone. You can just put me six feet under. I'm not really interested in not growing and learning any more.
"So yeah, maybe it's a great plateau and I can take a nice deep breath. It's like the view is amazing from here."
Renner is set to return to the big screen at the beginning of next year with Kill The Messenger, a movie that I am really looking forward to.
Kill The Messenger sees Renner take on the real life role of journalist Gary Webb, who uncovers a major story involving the CIA.
Renner will also be reprising the role of Hawkeye in Avengers: Age of Ultron next year, which looks set to be one of the biggest movies of 2015.
There is also talk that we will be seeing the character of Hawkeye in a third Captain America movie - which looks set to start filming next year.
