Could we be seeing Jeremy Renner and Matt Damon share the screen in a Bourne film? Renner has hinted that could be a possibility in the future.
Last month it was reported that Damon and director Paul Greengrass would be reuniting for a fourth Bourne film; their third together.
It was also suggested that Damon's Bourne film, would take the place of the sequel to Bourne Legacy in 2016.
However, producer Frank Marshall said that the Bourne Legacy sequel was still being worked on and developed.
Renner also confirmed that he would be returning to the role of Aaron Cross, and a film with Damon could well be a possibility.
Speaking to The Daily Beast, the actor said: "Absolutely! They made it more exciting when Paul [Greengrass] and Matt [Damon] got back into the mix, and finally cracked a story idea for them to come back into it.
"I think they'll be separate movies, and then the idea is for us to either team up, or be adversaries."
Renner took on the role of Cross for the first time in Bourne Legacy back in 2012, which was the first film in the franchise without Damon.
The next Bourne film will hit the big screen in summer 2016, but the plot of that movie is being kept underwraps.
As for Renner, he will be back on the big screen at the beginning of next year with The Messenger. He will also be returning to the role of Hawkeye in Avengers: Age of Ultron.
