Jennifer Lawrence has revealed that she liked Jodie Foster's directing style when they worked together on The Beaver.
The Oscar winning actress reveals that Foster was not afraid of actors and was very upfront about what she wanted for them in a scene - something that Lawrence says that she enjoyed.
Speaking to Total Film the actress said: "What I like about working with an actress as a director is that she's not afraid of actors.
"People tip-toe around actors like they are emotional land mines, which is probably right, but I find that annoying because I want someone to tell me what I'm doing wrong.
"She was very blunt. She would just be like, 'Talk louder. Do this'. I like that a lot."
The Beaver was the first time that Lawrence had worked with Foster while the movie was the third feature film directorial outing for Foster.
2013 is a busy year for Lawrence as we are going to be seeing her in Devil You Know, Serena an The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
She has also begun work on X-Men: Days of Future Past, where she will reprise the role of Mystique, as well as reuniting with director David O'Russell for American Hustle.
