Jennifer Garner has revealed that she 'hated' making her new film Dallas Buyers Club.
Garner reunites with Matthew McConaughey and stars alongside Jared Leto in a film that is based on the real-life story of AIDS sufferer Ron Woodroof.
McConaughey and Leto both shed the pounds for their roles, and Garner admits that she hated seeing them do that to themselves.
Speaking to Collider the actress said: Awful. I hated it. I actually hated making this movie - and I never say that - because I was so disturbed watching these boys do this to their body. I just wanted it to be over."
The movie follows Woodroof as he takes matters into his own hands as he brought life-saving AIDS drugs into the country. Garner takes on the role of Dr Eve Saks in the film, a immunologist.
Dallas Buyers Club is already being tipped as a major Oscar contender for early next year.
The movie is the first time that we have seen Garner on the big screen since The Odd Life of Timothy Green - however, she has had a year busy filming.
Garner has completed work on Imagine, Draft Day and Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day - all of which are set for release next year.
Dallas Buyers Club is released 7th February.
