Jeff Goldblum says that he would be 'open' to reprising the role of Dr Ian Malcolm for Jurassic World 2.
Goldblum took on the role for the first time in Jurassic Park back in 1993 and reprised the role in The Lost World: Jurassic Park four years later.
The franchise was rebooted last year with Jurassic World and Goldblum says that he would consider a return to this popular franchise and character.
Speaking Fandango at Comic Con, the actor said: "I'm nothing if not open - I'm like an open-faced sandwich," he explained.
"My door is not always open - I took the door off. I removed the hinges from the door. I'm too open. I'm like a chicken piccata."
Jurassic World hit the big screen last year - starring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard - and went on to gross $1.6 billion at the global box office. a sequel is in the pipeline.
Goldblum is set to reprise another role this summer as he returns to the character of David Levinson in Independence Day: Resurgence.
It has been twenty years since the actor took on the role of the first time and the new movie sees him reunite with director Roland Emmerich.
There are plenty of familiar faces on board as Bill Pullman, Vivica A. Fox, Judd Hirsch, and Brent Spiner will be back as President Whitmore, Jasmine, Julius Levinson, and Dr Brakish Okun.
Goldblum is also one of the big new additions to the Thor: Ragnarok cast list and will take on the role of the Grandmaster.
Filming is set to start later this year and will see the actor star alongside Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, Cate Blanchett, Karl Urban, and Mark Rufflo.
