Jay Baruchel has described being directed by friends Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg as 'awesome'.
Rogen and Goldberg have come together to direct new comedy This Is The End; a movie which sees Rogen, Baruchel, James Franco, Jonah Hill and Danny McBride all star.
And while Baruchel says it was great to work with his friends there was no hierarchy on the set.
Speaking to Flicks and Bits the actor said; "It was awesome. It was unique for me to be on the set of a movie where I’ve know the directors for over 12 years, since I was 18.
"So I might have been a a bit respectful, because I firmly believe in a hierarchy on a movie set and respecting the directors, but that being said there can be no hierarchical structure with guys I’ve seen in their underwear eating loose spoonfuls of peanut butter, in a terrible muggy apartment (laughs).
"But honestly, it’s a trip. It is pretty cool, it was great working under the direction of Evan and Seth."
The movie sees the actors all parody themselves as they face the end of the world together.
There are also set to be some great cameos in the film including Rihanna, Michael Cera and Emma Watson.
This Is The End kicks off a busy twelve months for Baruchel as we are going to be seeing him in The Art of the Steal, RoboCop and How to Train Your Dragon 2.
This Is The End is released 28th June.
