This will the second film that Statham and Chasman have produced, having just wrapped on Heat; which was directed by Simon West.
Statham has also completed work on Homefront and The Expendables 3, which will see him reprise the role of Lee Christmas.
The actor is currently filming Fast & Furious 7 where he will play villain Ian Shaw.
Statham is one of the new faces on the cast list as he joins franchise favourites Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Dwayne Johnson.
