Jason Momoa admits that he doesn't know much about the solo Aquaman movie just yet.
Aquaman is set to make an appearance in Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice and Momoa has been linked to the role just about all year.
However, the actor and the Warner Bros have remained tightlipped about his involvement, until the studio announced their superhero film schedule next week.
As well as seeing Momoa in Dawn of Justice in 2016, the actor is also set to reprise the role in his own solo film. But the actor admits he knows little about the project at this moment in time.
Speaking to ComicBook.com, the actor said: "I don't know the director," he said. "I know about as much as you guys know.
"I know the Justice League will come first. That's really what we're going to focus on. I'm not sure if it will be [set] prior to Justice League or post. I don't know too much about it.
"It will probably be where he came from. It will probably be his whole origin story I would think."
Momoa is currently filming Dawn of Justice alongside Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck, who are on board as Superman and Batman.
Cavill is returning to the role of Superman for the first time since Man of Steel, while we are introduced as Affleck, Gal Gadot and Jesse Eisenberg as Batman, Wonder Woman and Lex Luthor for the first time.
Aquaman is not the only solo film on the horizon, as Wonder Woman, is also set for her own film after Dawn of Justice.
As for Momoa, we will also be seeing him in Wolves and Sugar Mountain as well as Dawn of Justice over the next couple of years.
